Our business office will collect your insurance information from your physician’s office. When you arrive at the Center we will ask for your insurance card to verify the correct insurance and make clearer copies of your card. The Center accepts Medicare, Workers Compensation, Private Pay, and private insurance with out of network benefits. We are currently working to execute contracts for private insurance companies and Medicaid. 

Standard charges have been established for all procedures performed at the Surgery Center of Lancaster. Your financial responsibility at time of service will be any copay or coinsurance you may have. You will be balance billed for any services and/or charges not covered by your insurance plan. As a courtesy to you, we bill your insurance. Not included are fees for your physician and anesthesia services, laboratory fees, pathology, or other tests which may be ordered by your physician. Those fees are submitted separately. Charges for cases not covered by insurance must be paid in full at the time of service. The Surgery Center will assist you in filing insurance claims. We will accept a personal check and certain credit cards, including Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover.

The Surgery Center of Lancaster has met State and Federal licensing standards to qualify for Medicare certification. Our Center will be accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and is a member of the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association.
